2.5 Mobile Application
When you use our official mobile application (iOS and Android), we additionally collect the following, in addition to the account, learning, and usage information described above:
- Device and Diagnostic Information: Device model, operating system and application version, unique device identifiers, and crash and performance logs, used to keep the application stable and secure
- Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, the application registers an Expo push token with the Expo Push Service. Expo routes notifications through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android. The token is used solely to deliver course reminders, examination and certificate updates, and account notices
- Photo Library Access: If you choose to attach an image in the application, we may request access to your photo library so that you can select it. This access is optional, and only the images you choose are uploaded
- Biometric Authentication: If you choose to enable biometric login, the application may use Face ID on supported Apple devices or another biometric method supported by your device. Biometric matching is performed by your device's operating system; AccrediPro does not receive or store your biometric data or biometric template
The mobile application does not collect your precise (GPS) location, access your contacts, or use your microphone or camera. Notifications, photo-library access, and biometric authentication are optional and are requested only when you choose to use the related feature. You may disable them through the application or your device settings. Disabling an optional permission may make that feature unavailable, but will not affect your access to your courses.
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Course Delivery and Educational Services
Provide access to purchased courses and degree programs, track your progress, deliver personalized learning recommendations, facilitate community discussions, and provide coaching and mentorship services.
3.2 Degree and Credentialing
Issue degrees, certificates, mini masters, and professional credentials upon program completion. Maintain credential verification systems for employers and organizations. Track continuing education requirements.
3.3 Marketing and Communications
Send transactional emails, deliver newsletters and program updates, notify you of new courses, conduct surveys, and personalize marketing messages based on your interests.
3.4 Security and Fraud Prevention
Protect against unauthorized access and fraud, verify identity, investigate security incidents, document transactions for dispute resolution, and comply with anti-fraud requirements.

- Contractual Necessity: Processing necessary to fulfill our contract with you — access to courses, progress tracking, credential issuance, support.

With your consent, we may share limited information with employers or organizations seeking to verify your AccrediPro University credentials (name, credential type, date of issuance, validity status).
